We are currently seeking an experienced Lending Consultant to join our friendly and highly successful Lending team in Hawthorn East. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with our current and prospective Member base, assessing credit applications and approving credit based on their DLA.
A strong sales focus and service ethic is required. Candidates should possess a positive and professional manner and be a self-starter who initiates personal development.
Key Responsibilities include:
Credit assessment (personal loans, car loans, credit cards and overdrafts)
Phone based loan applications
General loan enquiries via a phone queue
Sales and cross selling general insurance and loan repayment insurances
Achieving/exceeding sales targets and KPI’s
Providing superior personalised customer service
Assessing customers needs and ensuring the action proposed will meet objectives and requirements
Accurately processing customer requests within an acceptable timeframe, including follow up
To be successful in this position you will ideally have the following:
Minimum two years loan assessment experience preferred
A passion for sales
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A high attention to detail
Tier 2 qualification preferred, but not essential
The position is permanent, full time, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.
