Salary: $82,707 – $89,530 p.a. (pro rata) plus employer superannuation contribution of 9.5%

Melbourne Law School (MLS) is Australia’s first all-graduate law faculty. MLS was the first faculty in Australia to teach law, and awarded this country’s first law degrees.

We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join the leadership group of the MLS Engagement and Marketing team. The Marketing Coordinator takes a crucial lead in the development of the Marketing and Recruitment Strategy for the MLS. Based on this strategy the Marketing Coordinator will lead the planning, implementation and assessment of marketing and brand activity. Critical to this is support for recruitment across national and international markets to the Juris Doctor (JD), Melbourne Law Masters (MLM), Breadth and Research programs. This position will also provide oversight of brand governance to ensure compliance and execution of branding guidelines across the MLS.

The incumbent must have solid and successful marketing expertise developed in either the higher education or government sector or be able to demonstrate suitable transferable experience. Highly developed organisational and interpersonal communication skills, absolute attention to detail and accuracy, discretion and sound judgment are critical to this role given the nature of the work undertaken. A commitment to the delivery of high-quality work, reflective of the prestige of the University and MLS brand, is essential.

This is a full time fixed term position reporting to the Manager Engagement and Marketing of the MLS. Applicants should address the competencies defined in the Position Description in their application.
