Project Manager – Implementation – SDN Children’s Services – Sydney

With around 700 staff across 36 sites in Sydney, regional NSW and the ACT, we have grown into one of Australia’s most respected children’s services organisations.

high quality, inclusive early childhood education and care
early childhood intervention for children with disabilities

resources and mentoring for practitioners and other agencies
Aboriginal training and employment support.

About the Position

Working within the newly formed Organisational & Business Development team, you will manage the implementation of business initiatives into service delivery environments, develop communication plans, coordinate system roll outs and ensure that strategies are embedded through training and engagement activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing the implementation of business initiatives including SDN’s Pathways for Families strategy
Building and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders
Developing effective communication strategies and facilitating engagement activities with service delivery teams
Developing clearly defined implementation project plans
End to end management of projects

This is a Full Time Maximum Term Contract for 12 Months.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:

Previous experience in a similar position within Education, Community Services or a related industry
Proven ability in delivering effective stakeholder engagement strategies
Training and facilitation expertise
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise
Adaptability, flexibility and resilience with the ability to respond positively to change
Connection with and willingness to advocate for SDN’s vision, values and philosophy
Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trust and deliver messages clearly and positively
Demonstrate an awareness of and commitment to child safety and comply with the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998.
Working with Children Check (NSW) (Or willingness to obtain)
