Aboriginal Sobriety Group Indigenous Corporation (ASG) is a community-based organisation providing care and support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to sustain social, emotional and economic well-being. It is the aim of ASG to improve the quality of life for Aboriginal people through the provision of programs and culturally appropriate supports.
This Traineeship is based in our Riverland Office and is a full time position (38 hours per week). As part of the Traineeship you will complete a Certificate 111 in Business via distant learning and will have the support of the Riverland Office the whole way through your Traineeship and be provided with study leave.
Reporting to the Program Manager, you will primarily be responsible for to be the front person to client service delivery and support to the Riverland Office.
The primary role of the Trainee / Administration Assistant is:
Provide an exceptional customer service to clients on the phone and in person.
Support the Program Manager in any administrative and / or operational requirement.
Reception duties ie: answering phones, front counter duties.
Administration duties ie: minute taking, booking appointments for staff and visiting psychologist.
Setting up of room for internal & external meetings.
Any other duties as reasonably requested from the Program Manager.
