Our fully integrated and end-to-end platform and service delivery team has been in the market for over 3 years and we work with some of the biggest brands in Australia. MobileDEN offers our clients various Pre-built core modules such as Digital Loyalty, Mobile Payments / bar tabs, Ordering, plus much more, yet with a focus on increasing customer engagement and driving users back in venue to make another transaction. Specifically, our white label apps provide the pre-built functionality that allows brands to get up and running quicker, for a fraction of the cost to develop or build it themselves.

Role Overview

We are looking for a senior Mobile Apps developer to lead the development of our mobile applications.  In this role you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of application development on the platform; including development, testing, deployment and support.

You will also have a solid understanding of the required skill set and excellent time management skills when it comes to establishing, documenting and delivering development projects.

What our expectations are from you

Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
At least two apps released on the App Store
Working closely with another mobile app developer leading the other platform development.
Deliver across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support.
Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions.
Optimising performance for the apps.
Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies.
Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Create design specifications, participate in design discussions and code reviews
Deliver solid, bug-free high performance code
Disciplined approach to testing, documentation and quality assurance

Skills/Experience (Essential)

You take pride in what you do and deliver
Minimum 2-4 years’ experience developing iOS Applications.
Proficient with Swift, iOS Frameworks and XCode
Experience guiding other developers on project or product development
Strong demonstrable skills in web application architecture, object oriented design, database design and messaging design (REST API)
Self-starter and ability to pick up new technologies rapidly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Skills/Experience (Desired)

Good understanding of different architectural approaches for iOS Apps.
Client facing experience with the ability to balance technical and business requirements
Experience with 3rd party integration

Implementing and configuring continuous integration
Strong OO design and programming skills in Objective-C / X-Code.
Familiar with iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location, etc.)

Qualifications

A University Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or proven work experience.
