The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has been created in SEEK Learning’s new Career Services Discovery Team. The Senior UX Designer will be part of the small Discovery Team charged with defining, building, testing and delivering products and services which will become part of a new Career Services function across the SEEK group.

Career Services has the bold objective of changing the way SEEK is able to support candidates throughout their career journey. The Career Services team will play an integral role in supporting and enabling the overall SEEK Learning vision to help millions of Australians find their calling and guide them along the best path for their career.

The Senior UX Designer will own the UX vision for the Career Services innovation roadmap and champion the continued evolution of the Career Services user experience. You will work collaboratively with the other Discovery Team members, including a Senior Product Manager and a Senior Developer, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Here are some essential criteria to help you identify whether this is a role for you:

5+ years experience in designing large scale products and services (start-up experience would be highly desirable)
Customer centric with a deep understanding of User Centered Design and Service Design principles and practices
Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesise data from many sources
Successful portfolio that demonstrates your ability in creating first class products
Able to understand fundamental business drivers at a deep level and to manage competing business priorities and tradeoffs
Engaging presentation style, strong communication and influencing skills
