Main duties/responsibilities include:
* Teaching and assisting in test marking
* Administering placement test and allocating students to class
* Providing effective management of teaching staff and to ensure that high quality training is delivered to international students
* Reviewing and planing academic programs
* Managing day-to-day academic operations across ELICOS programs
* Timetabling and teacher allocation
* Ensuring quality and compliance with college policies and procedures
* Providing academic cunselling and support to students, and timely resolutions to any academic concerns
* Reporting program performance and outcomes
* Identifying and suggesting areas of academic improvement
* Supervision of staff meetings and professional development
Selection Criteria :
* Recognized degree or equivalent
* TESOL qualification at postgraduate diploma level or above
* At least once years’experience in ELICOS academic management and two to three years’experience in ELT
* Full awareness and understanding of regulatory standards (National ELICOS) standards 2011, the National Code 2007 and the ESOS Act)
* Demonstrated outstanding academic leadership
* A high level of interpersonal and communications kills
* Enthusiastic and keen to work with the student
