Executive Officer – Tabor Tasmania Inc – Hobart

Tabor College Tasmania is well established and has recently been reaccredited for FEE-HELP eligible Degrees through to 2021. The Board is now seeking to develop and expand the learning program.

The College began as the Tasmanian College of Ministries, an initiative of Grace Christian Church. The ministry and eldership of Grace were committed to the activity of teaching and learning that the College offered and the Board of Grace operated as guarantors and overseers of the College. In July of 2005 the College changed its name to Tabor College Tasmania and subsequently became a separately incorporated entity with its own independent Governance Board.

You will be a key participant with the Governance Board in exploring different configurations of partnerships with other institutions and identifying opportunities for growth.

Strong communications skills and experience in change management are required. You will continue to develop strong links and partnerships with Christian churches and non-government organisations.

You will be a leader, engaging closely with the administrative and academic staff to inspire and enhance the status and performance of the College. Many staff have been with the College over a long period and have been integral to our history and development.

In addition to other relevant qualifications and experience, you would be encouraged to complete the AICD Company Directors Course if you have not done so already.
