Working with multidisciplinary project teams, you will contribute to the development of a range of innovative high-tech products, including biomedical, mining and business technology. You will provide exceptional test engineering services and advice throughout the Product Development Lifecycle to ensure high product quality.
We are looking for someone with engineering qualifications and experience in both electro-mechanical and software systems to test products throughout the Product Development Lifecycle. This includes Design Verification and Manufacturing Test.

Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure functional, robust and reliable products are delivered to our customers
Review requirement specifications and ensure requirement traceability
Create strategic Design Verification Test Plans and Manufacturing Test Plans
Create Design Verification Protocols and Manufacturing Test Specifications
Design and develop automated tools & test systems and methods appropriate for each product, for software, electronic and mechanical devices
Write detailed Verification Test Reports and contribute to product compliance documentation
Ensure all testing is carried out in accordance with our Quality Certifications
Continually improve our test processes and methodologies.
To be successful in this role you will have:
3-5 years of experience in planning, designing, building and qualifying test systems for Design Verification and Manufacturing purposes, with exposure to medical/safety-critical devices a bonus
Sound knowledge of test engineering principles, techniques and practices – from plan to evaluation
Attention to detail – preventing design & manufacturing errors
Significant Automation experience – Agilent VEE, National Instruments LabView, Python, Microsoft Visual Studio, Ranorex
CAD (Altium, Solidworks) experience to document test system designs
Product test experience – various battery technologies, portable medical devices, complex electro-mechanical devices
Problem solving with sound logical thinking and analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A team focus and collaborative approach
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or relevant discipline.
