This position will work towards maintaining and building key stakeholder relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating business deals, working to improve the Associations market position and achieve financial sustainability and growth. The role will also be responsible for creation of marketing collateral that will promote Cycling Queensland and the products and services.
The role will suit a highly skilled, proactive, creative, self-motivated individual. The Business Development Coordinator will have an understanding of the CQ Strategic Plan and work towards achieving objectives set by the CEO. They will also look to build on the excitement and legacy of the upcoming 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and the new indoor Queensland State Velodrome.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Highly developed verbal, and written communication including the ability to present to a range of stakeholder groups
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to work on multiple tasks, with minimal supervision
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite of programs
Ability to work outside of standard business hours and weekends
Understanding of how to produce results with limited resources
Capacity to create and retain productive relationships with key stakeholders, e.g. sponsors and partners.
Attention to detail in regards to report writing and communicating
