We require an experienced General Manager (Registered Nurse) to lead the day-to-day operations of this large aged care complex based in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, 30 minutes from Melbourne’s city centre. We require an experienced manager to maintain a collaborative culture onsite, lead & develop the clinical care team and promote excellence across the clinical, financial, occupancy, marketing & ACFI functions. The incumbent will also be required to develop & implement change management practices to suit both organisational & resident needs, develop & maintain strong business relationships within the local community, deliver necessary legislative changes, ensure all accreditation standards are met & the residence remains compliant and promote an uncompromising standard of clinical care to their residents.

The Requirements:
Registered Nurse DIV 1 – AHPRA Registered
At least 5 years aged care Residence Management experience
Proven experience managing large residential aged care facilities
Demonstrated leadership skills – We need a motivational mentor
Excellent financial and budgeting skills & experience.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with ACFI funding
Ability to manage time & tasks efficiently
Working knowledge of audits, validations & aged care accreditation
Thorough understanding of continuous improvement & quality assurance
Superior communication skills both written and verbal.
Highly organised and an ability to use and set up systems
Successful change manager with an ability to develop strong cultures.
