Office Administrator – INTER-MARINE – Sydney

Based in Mortdale, Inter-Marine is a specialist trade services and material supplier to the cruise ship industry.  The company also has a commercial air-conditioning division. Continued growth of the business has created the need to appoint another full-time office administrator.  Working as part of a small office team and reporting to the Managing Director the position will be responsible for:

Raising orders for suppliers and trade contractors;

Collate, check and raise sales invoices for completed jobs;

Checking and entering creditor invoices – suppliers, contractors and general office expenses;

Organise and facilitate travel arrangements and cruise ship access;

Assist with sourcing and quoting material supplies;

Office reception;

The successful should have at 5 years experience in a similar role and must have;

Excellent communication skills and telephone manner;

Good computer knowledge and data entry skills ( Word, Excel, Outlook );

Strong time management skills, ability to work independently and take initiative;

Ability to work under pressure, in strict timeframes and be prepared to do that

little bit extra to get the job done;

Strong customer service focus;

The work environment is busy, challenging and exciting but one that provides a close team atmosphere, recognition and reward. Hours of work are Monday-Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm with half an hour for lunch.

Extensive training about the business, internal systems and procedures will be provided but the successful applicant will be expected to have proven experience in the key duties and attributes.
