Office Adminstrator / ‘All Rounder’ – Uncle Charlie’s Pty Ltd – Melbourne

We’re now on the lookout for a passionate and systematic person who shares our values, and wants to join a great growing business based in East Bentleigh.  We are seeking a full time Office all rounder who can be our key ‘go to’ person for office administration and assistance in our small team.

In our busy office you will work along side our customer service/receptionist and closely with other managers. You will enjoy assisting in the improvement of service standards, company systems and you will work particularly closely with the finance manager.

Being a small and fast growing business, we’re looking for someone with loads of initiative, who is system focused, with a strong work ethic, a willingness to jump in and get things done, a person who thrives on multi-tasking in a fast paced environment with a strong attention to detail.

This diverse, exciting and important role includes the following responsibilities:

General administrative support for Charlie’s team, including owners, accounts, warehouse and marketing manager;
Marketing support including assisting with trade shows;
Be responsible for accounts payable data entry.
General office filing
Managing and ordering of office supplies
Articulately and clearly answer phones
Providing exceptional customer service, whenever required
Processing orders in MYOB; incl credits and returns
Set up new accounts in MYOB and manage customer credit application
Handle overflow of customer enquiries (via web, email, phone), resolve any issues;
Managing the occasional customer complaints or out of stocks
Liaise with the warehouse and logistics team
Assist with the management of, and developing processes and policies to improve our food safety program
Assist with sales support including, preparing samples, updating client ordering systems;

Experience in office & accounts administration is essential and previous experience in the food industry is advantageous.  Previous hands on experience with MYOB & customer service is preferred.

You will need to demonstrate fantastic organisational skills, a passion for providing the best possible service to customers, a real attention to detail, data entry accuracy, the energy and drive to support a growing team and a genuine interest in food!
