Irrigation Tasmania is a well-known fluid transfer goods supplier throughout the State. We pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service and the ability to meet the irrigation and associated industries’ requirements of our customers – both locally and in the field.
We are looking for a dynamic person to help us to continue to provide this outstanding service to the community and to help our team continue to achieve its goals in our Launceston Branch, commencing immediately. This is a full time position.
The main focus of this position is to coordinate all aspects of administration, including but not limited to: Reception, Secretarial, Data Entry and Task Management
Primary requirements for this role include:
Coordination of periodical / repetitive task completion
Pride in appearance
The ability to multi-task – proactively keeping management/staff members/customers informed of progress
A strong work ethic and initiative
Knowledge and/or previous experience in the Irrigation industry would be advantageous (but not necessary)
Exceptional communication skills and telephone manner
Demonstrated experience and proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, internet, and email
Proficient keyboard skills, point of sale computer experience, EFTPOS and cash handling
As each day is different, the successful applicant will be required to provide long-term dedication to this role due to the ever-changing cycle of the year. Depending on what is required you will need to be able to work in a team as easily as working autonomously. Relevant training will be provided.
