The Junior School at Pedare Christian College caters for 300 students in Reception to Year 5. The Junior School offers an engaging, dynamic and student centred curriculum that promotes, extends and celebrates student involvement and achievement. This includes setting a strong foundation of understanding and working with information technology to prepare students for life in an increasingly digital world. We aim to create and maintain a stimulating learning environment which is both safe and friendly.

Learning at the Junior School is undertaken across 9 curriculum areas which are developed from the Australian Curriculum documents. Our Learning Support Assistant will  work collaboratively with the classroom teachers and Learning and Enrichment Coordinator in the development, implementation and review of specific individualised learning programs for children with special needs. While the person will provide specialist support, the responsibility for successful learning outcomes remains with classroom teachers. The person will also fulfil specific administrative responsibilities.
