Graphic Designer – Scenic Rim Regional Council – Brisbane

The successful candidate will be predominantly responsible for generating print-based promotional materials which support the marketing, public relations and corporate communications initiatives of the council.

As part of the role, the candidate will be charged with preparing key external publications in addition to developing new print and online solutions which engage community stakeholders.

They will also apply their skills in the multimedia sphere to assist in maintaining Council’s online presence through its website and other electronic platforms.

The successful candidate will be required to work independently on multiple projects within a small team environment and collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders.

A client-based focus, results-oriented approach, flexibility, creativity and attention to detail are all musts for this role.

Relevant experience in graphic design and publication layout is required and qualifications in graphic design or a related discipline are desirable.

The role is based at Council’s administrative offices in Beaudesert.

Appointments will be in accordance with the Local Government Officers’ Award and Council’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.
