Early Childhood Teacher – part time
Betty Spears Child Care Centre is a long established, well respected community based, not for profit long day care centre located in Tempe.

Our centres consistent educator team, who have been working together for several years, are currently looking for an early childhood teacher to collaborate with and inspire them three days per week in our engaging learning environments

Essential Criteria
Bachelor of Teaching/Education (Early Childhood).
Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate.
Current Working with Children check (NSW).
Demonstrated high level of understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
NESA registered
Strong communication skills and computer literacy
Demonstrated ability to lead a team and mentor others

Commitment to own ongoing professional learning
An understanding of a play based and project based curriculum
A commitment to education for sustainability
Demonstrated commitment to supporting children’s social and emotional wellbeing
Demonstrated understanding of inclusive practices and ATSI perspectives and protocols
Awareness of current research and issues in early childhood
