An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced project manager to join our team at our Mawson Lakes offices in South Australia. Accountable to the Program Director (PD), the Program Manager (PM) is responsible for supporting the PD with the leadership, management and execution of the program, including project planning, monitoring and execution, risk and opportunity management, workforce planning and staff management, EVMS reporting and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver head contract requirements as per the Statement of Work, on time and to the specified standard
Ensure subcontractor / vendor performance to contract requirements
Ensure the schedule is maintained and reflective of the work as it is expected to be performed
Ensure work is executed at or below budgeted cost levels, including subcontracts and internal labour spend
Prepare, coordinate and brief the monthly PMRs, EACs and Gate reviews
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Degree level qualification in engineering, project management or management
AIPM certification as a CPPM or Raytheon certified PM Leading at Level 3
Demonstrated project management skills and sound understanding of the PMBOK and IPDS
Demonstrated experience in complex project management
Previous experience managing subcontracts and geographically dispersed vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
Ability to obtain and hold an Australian Defence security clearance to the Negative Vetting One level
