We are looking to hire an experienced, bright and enthusiastic Administration Assistant with excellent customer service and strong administration skills to our full time position in Family Day Care.

Role

The position offers lots of variety and reports to the Manager – Family Day Care. Duties include:
• Answering calls for Family Day Care
• Responsible for Enrolment enquiries and controlling waitlist
• Administrative support
• Responsible for internal/external bookings
• Data entry and filing
• Organise external playgroup bookings
• Coordination of Hubworks software system
• Identify opportunities for improving administrative efficiency and quality
• Housekeeping duties
• Preparing PowerPoint presentation material
• Provide support to the Family Day Care team
• Assistance with policy and regulation requirements
• Other duties as requested

The successful candidate

To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate previous experience in an administration role with excellent phone, customer service and administration skills.

• A high level proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent time management skills, combined with a flexible attitude to support the team in meeting business priorities.
• Able to work under minimal supervision with a high degree of initiative & attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise will be key to your success.
• Family Day Care or Childcare experience is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member and independently.
• Demonstrated experience in providing a broad range of administrative and project support services in a fast paced environment.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately and reliably follow through tasks to completion, on time.
