The Company
My company is one of Australia’s leading and largest industrial tools wholesaler and retailer. Providing Australian tradies, local government, schools, police departments, The Australian Army and the public. They source the best and biggest brands that tools have on offer, as well as bring their clients the most trusted and well-known international and national brands!

This company deals with Tools, Scaffolding, Generators, Torque Tools, Air Compressors, Welders, Pumps and Fasteners. They have existing clientele networks ranging from small businesses, tier 1, 2 and 3 builders, developers and much more.

Due to exponential growth, the company is looking for a Sales Representative to help maintain and grow the business even further.

The company is looking for a young, passionate, people’s person who will be able to network and help create new business across all of Sydney.

The Role
In this challenging opportunity, you will be required to promote their range of tools to new and existing clients in the construction and demolition industry. You will be responsible for lead generation and ensuring the highest standards are kept to maintain the existing clients. A can-do attitude will be required in order to succeed and excel in the industry.

Key Aspects
Selling tools and products to new clients.
Generating leads from existing clients in order to source new business.
Maintaining existing client relationships.
Visiting construction and demolition sites in Sydney CBD and all surrounding suburbs.
Cross selling and up-selling on new and used equipment.
Supporting major relationships with excellent customer management.
Demonstrations of new equipment and showing the key selling points of the equipment.
Working on daily and weekly sales to increase customers and buyers.
Meeting monthly, quarterly and yearly targets.

Skills & Experience Needed
Trade Qualified or have worked on major sites to gauge an understanding of needs and queries from clients (Open to all trades)
1-5 years’ sales experience – Must be in Industrial product sales or associated equipment
White card is a must (As you will be visiting construction and demolition sites often)
Network of clients and contacts and ability to network
Exceptional customer service
Exceptional rapport building skills

Salary and Benefits
$55 – $65k per annum + super
Commission – $5 – $10k per annum based on performance
