The Firm:
A three partner firm of quality and depth, this full service professional accounting practice of around 20 staff sits in a rural hamlet on the western edge of Melbourne in Bacchus Marsh.  Accounting compliance, advice and financial planning are all covered at this firm.  Easily accessible from the western suburbs (and against the flow of traffic) and also commutable from Ballarat and Geelong, this firm sets the standard for a friendly environment and quality training of its staff.

The role:
A first class Bookeeper is required to attend to a portfolio of client needs. You will be accurate and have an attention to detail, while at the same time being productive.  It is expected that you will have around three plus years of experience as a Bookeeper handling data entry of income and expenses, preparing BASs and IASs, reconciling General Ledger accounts, checking draft accounts, researching tax issues and reconciling GST from the GL.

The successful candidate will have:
A qualification in Bookkeeping, such as Certificate IV is expected, as too are strong skills in the use of MYOB or Quickbooks and Excel.  A knowledge of Xero and Payroll are desirable.  You will receive additional training in Xero, Excel and presentation skills.  Over time you will be upskilled in areas of tax such as FBT, CGT and corporate structures. – You provide quality work and the firm will look after you and your career.
