As a relatively new branch to the Shanghai based company, Greenland Australia are searching for key people to help drive its Melbourne based project.
Your responsibilities:
Reporting to Project Director, you will assist in the full life cycle of the Project from Site Acquisition, Feasibility, Planning, Design, Tender and Build Phase.
The First Project will be approximately 400 units.
Tender and appoint design consultants, attend and lead design meetings as required and approval of consultant’s monthly progress payments
Manage all design phase activities including Planning Scheme Amendments, Town Planning Permit, Town Planning Permit Amendments, Building Permits as well as all design related applications.
Review and challenge design to balance creative flair vs function, commercial, technical and compliance aspects of the project
Know your market and ensure our design aligned with current market trend or differentiated appropriately.
To be successful in this role:
Experience working on Residential Projects with construction cost of at least $50 Million
You will need to have at least 5 years’ relevant working experience in a similar role in an architectural design company, a property development company or in a design role with Builders.
Attention to detail and ability to workshop with consulting teams
IT literacy and competency in programmes such as MS Project, MS Office Suite, Adobe Suite etc.
Highly enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who requires minimum supervision with a willingness to learn, keen interest in the building construction industry and a dedicated team-player as well as ability to work within a small size team
