Wallaby Childcare are a professional specialist group of centres operating in Melbourne working together with parents and the local community to build brighter futures for the children in our care. We are recruiting permanent and casual certificate 3 staff for our new 73 place centre in Black Rock, which will open in July this year. This is a 4 room centre catering for children from 6 weeks to kindergarten. These roles require a mature, passionate and caring approach. You will have had experience working in your position. These are permanent and casual roles, with shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm.

For an Assistant Educator position you must:

Hold a Minimum qualification of Certificate III in Children’s Services
Hold a Current Working With Children Check for employment, valid for the state of Victoria
hold a Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificate
Have the ability to integrate into and work as a part of a strong staff team
Have an awareness of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
have exceptional communication skills

For Diploma Qualified Educator Positions you must:

hold a minimum qualification of a diploma of children’s services or education and care
Hold a current Working with Children Check for employment valid for the sate of Victoria
hold a current first aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificate
have the ability to lead a team
have a knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Framework
have exceptional communication skills
