Company Profile

This award-winning engineering consultancy is looking to engage a Civil Drafter to join it’s skilled and experienced team in the Sydney office. Having consistently received recognition for project excellence, this consultancy has successfully won a number of medium to large-scale multidivisional projects for 2015. As such, they are looking to expand their civil division to assist in the delivery of upcoming roads, residential subdivisions, storm water drainage and bulk earth works projects.

Position Description

As a Civil Drafter, you will manage the drafting and coordination of upcoming civil developments, primarily in the residential subdivisions, roads and stormwater drainage divisions throughout NSW. You will take control of the drafting to ensure all projects are delivered on time and adhere to design standards. In this role you will also liaise with relevant teams and stakeholders, and assist in the mentoring of junior designers and drafters. You will utilise your knowledge of 12D, Civil 3D and AutoCAD software packages to assist in the delivery of projects and mentor junior staff. You will report directly to the CAD Manager.
 
Skills & Experience

Tertiary qualifications
Proficiency in 12D, Civil 3D, AutoCAD and other relevant software packages
Strong drafting experience for a diverse range of projects (roads, residential subdivisions, stormwater drainage)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
