Student Union (UMSU) for a Marketing & Events Officer who is responsible for working with staff and elected student representatives to support and coordinate events including Orientation Week, Mid-Year Orientation, Open Day and various other student run events. The role is also responsible for maintaining and assisting in the development of sponsorship and advertising opportunities for UMSU and MUSUL Services.

Reporting to the Manager, Communications and Marketing, you will have a relevant formal qualifications in Marketing or Public Relations, significant relevant experience (minimum 5 years) and possess outstanding communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.  Previous experience in staff supervision, along with the ability to prioritise, problem solve and plan efficiently are also essential skills for this role.

This is a full time (35 hours per week), continuing position with a salary package of $78K+ per annum.
