Our client is a long-standing and highly regarded systems engineering and technology company. They are seeking the services of a talented Mobile App Developer to expand the team’s capability in developing a new product for deployment across a range of market segments.
The focus for this position is initially for Android devices but the product roadmap will expand to iOS and Windows mobile platforms.

The successful candidate will have experience over the full development lifecycle for mobile device platforms and will be known for their analytical, creative and teamwork skills.
Experience and Skills
Required
4+ years of software development experience
Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience
At least 2-3 years of Android mobile development work
Comprehensive knowledge of Android SDK
Excellent understanding and coding skills with HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax and CSS3
Experience working with remote data (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
Experience with PhoneGap/Cordova APIs and development tools
Have published or part of the team for at least 2+ native, hybrid or web applications in APP store
Highly Desirable
Familiarity with Eclipse or other mobile development IDEs
Experience using social media APIs and third party libraries
Practical and solid understanding of OO programming and design patterns
Familiarity with iOS with strong OO design and some programming skills in Objective-C
Familiar with iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location, etc)
Good sense of visual design and ability to translate concepts to high quality mobile UI’s
Web Services knowledge & coding
Location: This position is based at their Melbourne CBD office.
