IT Support Officer – Vitality Brands Worldwide – Melbourne

This strategically important new role reports directly to the IT & Digital Systems Manager and is based at our National Head Office in Hawthorn East, Melbourne.

With the growing number of projects underway, we are seeking an experienced IT Support Officer to successfully co-ordinate IT Frontline Support requirements as well as assisting the IT & Digital Systems Manager with various IT Operational and IT Project activities. This is an evolving role within a supportive team environment. Our company will provide the IT Support Officer with required training for personal development and regular up-to-date knowledge in order to be successful in this role.

Applicants will need to demonstrate the following qualities relevant to the role:

IT Frontline Support

Attending to help desk requests, including support request fulfillment and communicating request status back to business users in timely manner.
Troubleshoot system issues, co-ordinate problem resolution with external specialist(s) as required, monitor and ensure adequate solution is delivered to address system problem.
Co-ordinate implementation of minor system change / enhancement requests with external providers and ensure changes are documented, tested and deployed in timely manner.

IT Operational Support

Maintain up-to-date and accurate records keeping for IT operational purpose.
Liaise with external specialists to perform scheduled system health check and reporting as needed.
Liaise with vendors for quotation of required IT equipment and obtain appropriate authorization to proceed with procurement.

IT Project Support

Participate in technology projects and attend to assigned tasks, including requirement gathering, analysis and documentation, testing and post go-live support.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Competencies

2+ years of IT support experience in medium to large commercial organizations.
Experience with supporting Windows workstations, iPad, mobile devices and multifunction printers.
Knowledge and experience with TCP/IP network protocol, DHCP, Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
Knowledge and experience with ERP, CRM, BI, EDI and web technologies (e-Commerce and content management systems) are highly advantages.
Bachelor degree in Information Technology.
