The Team

The Technical Training Consultant will be a member of the Implementation and Training team, reporting to the Services Manager ANZ.  The Implementation and Training team are located across Australia and New Zealand and comprises of Implementation Consultants and a Technical Training Consultant.

The Role

The Technical Training Consultant role is primarily responsible for the development, maintenance and delivery of technical training courseware, sales training courseware and classroom / digital instruction or both.  These activities are meant to enable and support the entire Enghouse Interactive ecosystem including customers and partners.

As both a technical trainer and course developer, the Technical Training Consultant will be responsible for ensuring Enghouse Interactive customers and partners derive the greatest value from their Enghouse Interactive solution.  This will include analysis, design, writing, proofreading, editing and version control of all Enghouse Interactive content which meets all performance support and learning needs as well as delivery of training to meet the needs of Enghouse Interactive customers and partners.  All achieved through appropriate methodologies and processes to ultimately support the selling, designing, installation, administration and use of Enghouse Interactive products.

The Technical Training Consultant will create and maintain key relationships within Enghouse Interactive engineering, support, marketing, sales, services and training organizations in order to ensure timely release of all assigned projects.  All assigned tasks will be completed with a keen attention to customer and partner satisfaction, product quality, and adhering to budget and project timelines.

Experience and Skills

We’d like to hear from you if you are a proactive professional with initiative and a desire to improve business performance, strong people skills and able to build good working relationships both internally and externally, and have the following qualifications, experience and skills:

Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in technical writing, instructional design, instructional technology, computer science, telecommunications networking or other engineering focus required.

Working knowledge of the theory and practice of adult learning.

Five or more years of corporate training experience, including presentation/facilitation, needs analysis, course design and evaluation.

Specialist knowledge of telecommunication, contact centres and unified communications.

Practical experience in all facets of training solution design and development techniques.

Practical experience in all facets of training solution design and development techniques.

Highly developed communication and writing skills.

Project management skills, well organised with attention to detail.

Good research skills with the ability to understand technical information.

Well-developed IT skills, specifically (Microsoft Office, Adobe Captivate or other training product, graphics, multimedia and e-mail packages, Microsoft Project).

Pragmatic, proactive approach to supporting the business in relation to people skills development for our Partners and Customers.

Ability to work/consult with partners, customers, management and staff to identify solutions.

Able to be assertive and influence management towards appropriate solution when required.

Work independently but must work well in a team environment and be able to assist others where required.

Adaptable/flexible in attitude and task management.
