Research Officer – Gillian Beaumont Legal – Sydney

The Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse is seeking a suitably qualified Research Officer to join its Research and Policy team. This team is responsible for policy development on a broad range of issues.

The successful candidate will provide research support to senior members of the research team. Your functions will include conducting literature reviews using accepted academic methodologies, providing high quality contributions to written reports, and reviewing, analysing and summarising data and reports. You must have a demonstrated capacity to work independently and as part of a team in a high performance policy environment.

To succeed in this role, you will have excellent research, communication and interpersonal skills. Tertiary qualifications in a social science-related discipline are essential, and qualifications at an Honours level or above will be highly regarded. Experience in designing, conducting and presenting findings of systematic literature reviews is desirable.

This role will be offered on a contractual basis, with a salary between $69,056 and $87,601 plus 15.4% superannuation.
